Ansley and Colin are so glad that you're planing to join us! If you find yourself with downtime during your stay, these are some places that the couple enjoys frequenting. Feel free to go off-script - Athens has plenty of great spots to enjoy!

We'll be sharing our wedding weekend with Athens' twilight criterium - an annual short course bike race and festival. The headlining races will be Saturday evening during the wedding, but there will be plenty of events and vendors, including food and drink options, Friday evening and Saturday during the day. There will also be road closures in downtown Athens that could limit parking options for the Friday evening event, so please plan ahead!
Saturday morning 8AM-12PM
This is where you'll find Ansley and Colin every Saturday morning they're in town. Get there early for the best chance at strawberries! Good spot for breakfast or early lunch.
One of Ansley and Colin's favorite places to take a stroll. Miles of trails and beautifully maintained gardens make this a place you could spend a whole day. The children's garden and the white trail are some of their favorites.

Their favorite local coffee roaster. Local tip, if you buy a bag of beans, you receive a free cup of drip coffee!
If you're eating a pastry in Athens, it's probably from Independent. Not much seating, but this is a great place to grab a snack on the go!

The best asian food in Athens by a mile. Get the peanut noodles - you won't regret it! Also has a creative cocktail list.
Fantastic draft beer list and great pub food. The 3-Way Chili will cure whatever ails you. Vegetarian and vegan friendly.
Ansley and Colin's favorite place for a fancy night out. If the weather is nice, try to get a table on the porch. The meet and greet brunch will be held here Saturday morning.
A classic Athens experience. Best side is the green beans! Ribs or pulled pork are excellent. Pro-tip: you can bring their food across the street to the Creature Comforts patio.

Best craft beer in town! Often has a food truck in the courtyard. The Bibo Pilsner is one of Colin's favorites.
A great place to have a drink, especially if the weather is nice! Ansley is particularly fond of the spritz options.
Good cold Guinness in a historic building - doubles as a nice lunch spot.
